The Big Transformers: Big Bertha, and the
Mother of All Transformers.
Higher wattage appliances require specialized transformers.
They can be large and heavy; not recommended for those
with the world on their backs. Our larger transformers (and
the # 100) all step 220V-240V down to 110V-120V, and accept 2-pin, polarized and
3-pin grounded appliances. They are fuse protected with a LED red light
indicating power source. Unlike converters, they may be left on for long
stretches of time. Transformer's grounded
European plug will fit most countries in Europe. (Adapters available for all other countries.

Always check the wattage of
your appliance to determine which transformer is best for you. Transformers do not convert
cycles (60 Hz North America vs. 50 Hz in most other countries) and some appliances
may not operate normally overseas, including: televisions, microwave ovens, analog clocks, and old
turntables. Consult the appliance manufacturer
if you have questions.
