Whether it's a quick dip in a crowded Mediterranean vacation spot or from a deserted Honduran beach (unfortunately, deserted beaches often become an illusion when valuables are left unguarded.) we've solved the problem of what to do with your passport and other important personal items, like money or travelers checks, while you're in the water. Not only perfect at the beach, but for rafting, canoeing, or kayaking. The Seal Pak is a unique, watertight fannypack which protects valuables. Made of rugged urethane coated nylon, it has welded seams and a roll-down closure to keep water out. An outside mesh pockets holds keys, sunglasses, or sunscreen. 8 x 7 inches, with stretch belt. Weighs 5 ounces. (Not for complete submersion -- the Seal Pak is watertight, not waterproof.)

Chinese Survival Tool

We're not sure why they're called "Chinese Survival Tools." They're made in China, but it must be more than that. Perhaps they were essential during The Long March. In any case, they're tiny, very inexpensive, and very, very useful. They can be used as a knife, ruler, can opener, bottle cap lifter, wrench, screwdriver, and file. Weighing about 1 1/5 ounce, and measuring 2 3/4" by 1 1/2" x 1/16", the Chinese Survival Tool should be an essential item in your passport holder. That way your tools are at hand for emergencies -- especially the bottle opener. Made of stainless steel, and comes with a leatherette case. (We recommend not carrying the Chinese Survival Tool in your passport holder until you have cleared airport metal detectors!)
