Armenia Travel Adapters
Armenia is a landlocked country in the South Caucasus region of Western Asia, bordered by Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Iran. The capital and largest city is Yerevan, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The national currency is the Armenian dram.
Armenia follows electrical standards common across much of Europe and the former Soviet region, with mains electricity supplied at about 230 volts at 50 Hz. Wall outlets use the European round-pin plug designs known as Type C and Type F sockets. Travelers from regions that use different plug types should bring a compatible or universal travel adapter. Visitors from 120-volt countries should confirm that their devices are labeled 100–240V before plugging in, or use an appropriate voltage converter.
Power Plug and Travel Adapter Types Used in Armenia
Adapter types are listed because they are encountered in at least some installations. Presence may be partial, mixed, or situational. No plug type is excluded due to limited or declining use.
