Kingman Reef is an unincorporated territory of the United States located in the central Pacific Ocean roughly halfway between Hawaii and American Samoa. The reef consists of a shallow lagoon surrounded by coral reefs and small sand and coral islets. Kingman Reef is uninhabited and is part of the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument.
