Type O Travel Adapter (TIS 166-2549 / Thailand Plug)
Type O plugs are the modern grounded plug system defined by the Thai national standard TIS 166-2549. The design uses two round pins with a grounding pin and was introduced to improve electrical safety and standardization in Thailand.

Adapters do not convert voltage.
A Type O travel adapter, also commonly sold as a Type O travel adaptor or TIS 166-2549 adaptor plug, changes plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
This grounded adapter accepts not just U.S. plugs but plug styles from all countries, except Type M South Africa plugs. However, Type E/F Schuko-style plugs will not be grounded.
