Aceh Travel Adapters
Type C and Type F • 230 volts • 50 Hz
Aceh is a special autonomous region located at the northern tip of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. The provincial capital is Banda Aceh. While Aceh remains part of the Republic of Indonesia, it operates under a special autonomy arrangement that allows greater regional authority and the implementation of local Islamic law in many areas.
Aceh follows Indonesia’s national electrical standard, with mains electricity supplied at about 230 volts at 50 Hz. Wall outlets typically accept the common European round-pin plugs used across much of Indonesia, most often Type C and Type F. Type F is commonly called Schuko.

Plug types are listed because they are encountered in at least some installations. Presence may be partial, legacy, mixed, or situational. A travel adapter, also spelled travel adaptor, changes plug fit only; a voltage converter, sometimes searched as a voltage convertor, is needed only for devices that are not dual voltage. No plug type is excluded due to limited or declining use. Type F adapters are also known as Schuko style.
