Donetsk People’s Republic Travel Adapters
Type C and Type F • 220 volts • 50 Hz
Donetsk People’s Republic is a self-proclaimed state in eastern Ukraine centered around the city of Donetsk. It declared independence in 2014 during the conflict in the Donbas region, though it is not widely recognized internationally. The area includes major industrial cities, coal mining regions, and heavy manufacturing centers that historically formed part of Ukraine’s industrial heartland.
Donetsk People’s Republic uses mains electricity supplied at about 220 volts at 50 Hz. Wall outlets use Type C and Type F sockets. Travelers from regions that use different plug types should bring a compatible travel adapter. Visitors should confirm that their electronic devices support 100–240V input or use an appropriate voltage converter if necessary.

Plug types are listed because they are encountered in at least some installations. Presence may be partial, legacy, mixed, or situational. A travel adapter, also spelled travel adaptor, changes plug fit only; a voltage converter, sometimes searched as a voltage convertor, is needed only for devices that are not dual voltage. No plug type is excluded due to limited or declining use. Type F adapters are also known as Schuko style.
