Type K Travel Adapter (DS 60884-2-D1 / Denmark Plug)
Type K plugs are the Danish grounded plug system defined by the national standard DS 60884-2-D1. The plug features two round pins with a grounding pin positioned above the live pins.

A Type K travel adapter, also commonly sold as a Type K travel adaptor or DS 60884-2-D1 adaptor plug, changes plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
This grounded adapter accepts not just U.S. plugs but plug styles from all countries, except Type M South Africa plugs. However, Type E/F Schuko-style plugs will not be grounded.
