Type L Travel Adapter (CEI 23-50 / Italy Plug)
Type L plugs are the Italian grounded plug system defined by the national standard CEI 23-50. The plug features three round pins arranged in a straight line and exists in multiple current ratings for different appliance classes. It is used in Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, and Chile.

Adapters do not convert voltage.
A Type L travel adapter, also commonly sold as a Type L travel adaptor or CEI 23-50 adaptor plug, changes plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
This grounded adapter accepts not just U.S. plugs but plug styles from all countries, except Type M South Africa plugs. However, Type E/F Schuko-style plugs will not be grounded.
