Australia Type I Travel Adapter (AS/NZS 3112)
Type I is most closely associated with Australia and New Zealand, where it is the standard plug style. It has two angled flat power pins, and grounded versions add a third vertical grounding pin.
The Type I system extends well beyond Australia and New Zealand. It is found in Argentina, China, and is widely encountered across the South Pacific, including Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Kiribati, and other islands.
A Type I travel adapter (also spelled adaptor) changes the plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
