Australia Type I Travel Adapter (AS/NZS 3112)
Australia and New Zealand use the Type I plug. It has two angled flat power pins and a third vertical grounding pin.
A Type I travel adapter, also spelled Type I travel adaptor, Australia adapter, Australia adaptor plug, or New Zealand adapter, changes the plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
This grounded adapter accepts plug styles from most countries. Type M South Africa plugs do not fit, and Type E/F Schuko-style plugs will not be grounded.

U.S. plugs do not fit Australian wall outlets without an adapter. The adapter changes the plug shape from the U.S. Type A or Type B configuration to the Australian Type I configuration.
