Type I Travel Adapter (AS/NZS 3112 Compatible)
Type I plugs feature two angled flat pins with a grounding pin. This grounded plug design is standard in Australia and New Zealand and is also encountered in parts of Asia, South America, and the Pacific.

A Type I travel adapter, also commonly sold as a Type I travel adaptor or AS/NZS 3112 adaptor plug, changes plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
This grounded adapter accepts not just U.S. plugs but plug styles from all countries, except Type M South Africa plugs. However, Type E/F Schuko-style plugs will not be grounded.
