Type G Travel Adapter (BS 1363)
Type G plugs (formally designated BS 1363) have three rectangular pins arranged in a triangular pattern. This grounded plug design is encountered in the United Kingdom and in many countries and territories worldwide.
Electrical standard: typically 220–240 V / 50 Hz.
Adapters do not convert voltage.
A Type G travel adapter, also commonly sold as a Type G travel adaptor or BS 1363 adaptor plug, changes plug shape only. It does not convert voltage.
This grounded adapter accepts not just U.S. plugs but plug styles from all countries, except Type M South Africa plugs. However, Type E/F Schuko-style plugs will not be grounded.
